Adjunct faculty in the Department of Education are expected to teach undergraduate courses, which may include evening, weekend, hybrid, and/or in virtual remote environment, and engage in teaching practices with an acute focus on documenting student learning.
Job Description
The Department of Education is seeking qualified candidates as Adjunct Professor in Health.
Responsibilities:
Adjunct teaching of undergraduate courses may include evening and weekend courses. The courses include a variety of professional education for education majors.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have at least a Masters' degree or higher in Health or a related field from a regionally or nationally acredited institution.
- Previous collegiate teaching experience is desired.
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
- Strong interpersonal skills with students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
Rank and Salary
Salary is competitive and commensurate with professional experiences; nine-month position with potential for summer employment.
Expected Date of Appointment
Nine-month appointment to begin fall semester 2020 (July 29, 2020).
Expected Start Date
