Black Executive Exchange Program (BEEP)

One of the main activities of the Business Club is to plan and coordinate the Black Executive Exchange Program (BEEP) seminar sponsored by National Urban League. Since its inception in 1969, BEEP has assisted HBCUs strengthen the potential of their students. Paine College's involvement with National Urban League's Black Executive Exchange Program dates back to the fall of 1977.

Management Information Systems (MIS)

The purpose of the Paine College MIS club is to encourage an open interaction between and among students, faculty, and employers. Additionally, the Paine College MIS Club seeks to smooth the progress of growth within the MIS field through mentoring and student support. Most importantly, the Paine College MIS Club strives to uphold a strong focus on what MIS means to societal concerns and potential employers. Currently, the Paine College MIS Club is in the process of establishing an MIS lab that will serve as a laboratory where students will spend time exploring their capabilities and develop skills essential to an MIS career in today job market. The lab that is in its formative stages is awaiting approval for lab space to house a donation of computers and equipment. One of the major activities that the MIS Club focuses on is job placement and career development. The club has decided to focus on these goals, especially given the dire economic times that the world is currently experiencing. Moreover, students are facing a new paradigm that they must understand and manage with finesse.

Marketing Club

The marketing major provides students with basic skills necessary for careers in marketing. The curriculum is designed to develop students' basic understanding of the marketing concept and how it is implemented in designing marketing mix strategies. Students graduating with a degree in marketing can move into professional careers in the public or private sector or graduate programs to further their educational development in the field of marketing.

National Association of Black Accountants (NABA)

NABA is one of the primary clubs of the Department of Business. NABA represents the largest pool of African Americans in accounting and finance in the nation. NABA's success is its ability to develop and encourage professional growth among members in every profession. Members of NABA also attend national conferences where major corporations come to interview and hire accounting and finance majors. NABA club provides the students great networking opportunities.

Rotaract is a student organization that is sponsored by Rotary International, a worldwide service organization for leading business and professional men and women. Its purpose is to encourage increased student awareness of the importance of taking an active interest in community life and to have the opportunity for professional development. It also affords the members of Rotary International the opportunity to mentor students, support their activities, and encourage them to become future Rotary Club members.

Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE)

SIFE is a global, non-profit organization that is literally changing the world through highly dedicated student teams on more than 1,600 university campuses in 40 countries. Paine College SIFE club offers students the opportunity to develop leadership, teamwork and communication skills through learning, practicing and teaching the principles of free enterprise, thereby improving the standard of living for Paine College students as well as the Augusta and CSRA. The SIFE club is guided by a faculty advisor and supported by businesses in Augusta and CSRA. SIFE Team at Paine College, through its educational outreach programs, teaches important concepts such as market economics, entrepreneurship, personal and financial success, and business ethics to better themselves, their communities and individuals (
