HBCU Empowerment Scholarship

Augusta, GA - Paine College announces the HBCU Empowerment Scholarship. One (1) scholarship for $5,000 will be awarded to college students attending/admitted to Paine College to be used toward tuition and expenses. All students attending or admitted to Paine College are eligible to apply regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or lawfully authorized to work full-time without restriction for any U.S. employer. Grades and academic performance will serve as indicators of potential; however, an emphasis may be placed on the individual's essay submission. Essay submission deadline July 20th, 2020; all submissions will be evaluated by the committee.
