Coronation 2026

Coronation 2026

Paine College is preparing for an evening of elegance, tradition, and collegiate pride as the institution proudly presents “Emerald Reign,” the Coronation of the 99th Miss Paine College, Rickhia Tarver, and the 25th Mister Paine College, Jaylen Miller.

The highly anticipated celebration will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., in the Gilbert-Lambuth Memorial Chapel, located at 1255 Druid Park Avenue in Augusta, Georgia.

Steeped in tradition and rich in symbolism, the annual Coronation Ceremony is one of Paine College’s most cherished celebrations, honoring student leadership, academic achievement, service, and the enduring legacy of the institution. This year’s theme, “Emerald Reign,” embodies royalty, growth, renewal, and the promise of a bright future, reflecting the excellence and distinction that define the Paine College experience.

The evening will formally recognize Miss Tarver and Mr. Miller as they assume their ceremonial roles as ambassadors of the College. As representatives of the student body, they will carry forward the responsibility of promoting school pride, strengthening campus engagement, and exemplifying the values of leadership, character, scholarship, and service.

More than a ceremonial crowning, Coronation is a celebration of the rich history and traditions that have shaped generations of Paine College students. It is an opportunity for the campus community, alumni, family members, and friends to come together in recognition of two student leaders who represent the spirit and promise of Paine College.

The 2026 Coronation promises an atmosphere of regal elegance, with a stunning display of emerald green, royal purple, and gold, symbolizing the beauty, prestige, and enduring traditions of the College.

Paine College invites alumni, students, faculty, staff, family, friends, and the greater Augusta community to join in this memorable occasion as the institution celebrates a new chapter of student royalty and honors the legacy of those who have worn the crowns before them.
