Paine College alumnus Becomes 1st Student Ministry Intern at Duke University

Paine College alumnus Deonté Moses was selected to be the Student Ministry Intern at Duke University. He was new post was announced in newsletter for Chapel Scholars last week. The section read as follows: ” Deonté Moses is a 2nd year Mdiv student at Duke Divinity School. He was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and graduated from Paine College in Augusta, Georgia. While in undergrad, he started a campus group called The Devoted Disciples where students had the opportunity to share their faith and deepen their relationship with God. He is currently affiliated with the United Methodist Church and is considering entering the pastorate upon completing his degree. When he isn’t studying, Deonte enjoys basketball and exercise in his free time.”
