UNCF Virtual Walk for Education

Dear Friend,
This Saturday, September 19, UNCF will host its first-ever National Virtual Walk for Education, featured in 23 cities and across our nation. Please join us for this fun, important and empowering event, no matter where you are located!

The UNCF National Virtual Walk for Education® is a nationwide event to raise awareness about our 37 member HBCUs and their students. The online fundraiser will help raise money for UNCF to help us provide urgently needed support for both our students and our member colleges and universities.

The Virtual Walk for Education is bringing together UNCF and HBCU allies to foster systemic change, ensuring that more young people of color can successfully get to and through college. We believe this new, exciting event will provide a galvanizing outlet for individuals, companies, sororities, fraternities, community organizations and churches looking to help create better futures for African American students and all Americans who want to move our nation forward.

Will you stand with UNCF and HBCUs on September 19 to lend your voice to help create the chorus of change that is so desperately needed in our country for social equality by participating in the UNCF National Virtual Walk for Education®?

Virtual Walk participants are asked to make a donation to UNCF and do something meaningful—walk, run, cycle, dance—all while practicing social distancing, in honor of UNCF, our students and schools. Then celebrate as the event rolls on with the celebrities, member presidents, students, alumni and others who will be joining us.

Learn more about our Virtual Walk and how to get involved by visiting UNCF.org/NationalWalk.

Thank you for continued support of UNCF, HBCUs and our students!

Sincerely,
